Last week, Sherilyn signed up to participate in the Citizens State Bank's Adopt a Family. She received a shopping list for one of the parents of the adopt a family the bank chose. The money she received from the bank barely covered the costs of the very basic items on this individual's need list (socks, underwear, winter jacket, etc). Sherilyn mentioned this concern and that is when I decided to donate my $10 Pay It Forward dollars to Sherilyn, so she could buy this person some additional "want" items in addition to their "critical need" items.
Hopefully, as a parent who I am guessing puts their child(ren) first, they will appreciate something that is for them personally instead of something that is for the child or something their entirely family.
